Yeah It was a great time!!
I took with 1st place in the 18th scale class and 3rd in the 1/8 buggy A main. there were many trophys won by Chitown members and I'm sure we'll get the results and pics soon.

this was well worth the trip!!!! this was my first time ever on a track and i love it..it was great to meet everyone too many people to list but it was a awsome time..cant wait to go again...but make sure your pit guy isnt half blind when u race....
looking for something new to buy.... like a lst2 or something let me know what u got..................

CampMaxx was a blast! The hellfire was running real good. I was lucky enough to take home 1st in ulimited. The 2 fast guys in the class, kit and denny both had some problems late in the race, causing me to win the race.
The sure were some memorable moments I must say. There never was a dull moment, whether it was during the car trip there, the camping, or the car ride back.

It was a great time, as always. Can't wait for the next one.
Congrats to all the trophy winners. Too bad I couldn't have brought one home as well. A blown engine, which was partly due to a manufacurers defect in the Trinity pipe, kept me out of the winners circle.
Thanks to Tommy, Dan, John and Tune for the parts to get me driving in the main, and Gabe for the all the help.
Excelent first race effort from Drew. First time out, and qualified second in the B-main, behind me and ahead of Denny.
I also have a LOT of pictures, some GREAT action shots as well, and will be posting them up in a while.

and thanx again chris for helping me out so much and gabe for the pointers while on the driver stand....it helped me out alot on my first time racing on a track..without u guys i wouldnt have been alot worse then i was

No problem Drew, That's what we are here for. I was in the same boat you were a couple years ago. I remember standing on the drivers stand for the first time thinking, "I'm not going to be able to do this." Gabe was the one giving me pointers then as well...

Nope, didn't blow a servo this time! I did break the lower part of the servo saver. I got a one from a buggy that I molested with a dremel to get me through the weekend. Worked pretty good IMO.

Camp Maxx was GREAT!! Deffenatly going back. Thx, to all for the great memories. Cant wait to see the pics.

It was def. one of the best camps ever! The turnout was great! The people that went were awesome! I can't wait to do it again!! Next time I will actually be able to race! All I need is to not lose a f!@king contact on the way down! lol

Just wait till the next one whaen i put an all aluminium rustler into the top 3 j/k.(:joy: :joy: I really wanted to go this time but my future wife made me stay and go put the down payment on my wedding but next time i will def. be there.

Of course the rustler will make top three, there is usually only about 3 trucks in that class. lol
Did anyone else notice that stock monster truck was faster than the scales? WOW.

I was looking at the results page. If my engine wouldn't have crapped out on me, I was running in the top 3. The 2nd qualifier was basically a "Test-n-Tune" for the replacement engine, and in the Main, it just didn't want to come together for me. Seemed to be running good, till it started stalling out.
Oh well, __it happens.... Just seeing how close I was running with the "fast group" makes me happy.
