reciver glitch...

ok when i turn on my truck and controler the thorattle servo tweaks out..not the stering...like at first its fine then after a few min itll start to tweak just a little bit but it gets worse and worse till the point of full thorattle to full brake....did my reciver go bad?

you mean servo? What one is it? My 2055 in my revo was glitching today, but a few min ago it was fine.

You're supposed to turn on the radio then receiver. Even Chris Chiannelli (sp?) said it so it must be true!

but when i would turn my controller off it would stop twitching then i would turn on my controller and the thoratol would twitch again...then i pushed the front end real hard to make the skid plate hit the ground and it stoped for a few sec..

are your crystals in tight? all connections, antenna in the radio screwed in all the way.

dude i used to solder my own batteries, after 2 fires I just gave up hahahah

first thing to do is swap the throttle and brake servo channels to see if the problem follows the servo to the other channel. that will tell you eally quick if its the servo.

Now if the glitch stays on the same channel even when you swap servos its a TX/RX problem. at that point try your TX on someone elses truck by switching to their channel on purpose (Duh ask them if you can test it of course!! lol) . if the glitch appears on the other persons truck its the Tx that has a problem. Lastly swap out the RX.

Do you have a extra set of crystals you can try? yours could be toast!

well i changer the tx and rx and servos and its still doing it so im 100% possitive that its the reciver now
