There were no 'blind turns' that I can remember Dan, maybe it was where you were standing on the drivers stand.

oh and I'm just going to watch other people attemp/clear the triple before I try it, that way I get a feel for how much power you need and whatnot. I will attempt to clear it on my first lap, that's the only way to learn is to just do it.

On the very first track setup when you came around the turn off of the back straight that lead into the double you couldn't see the side of the turn. (From at least 2/3 of the drivers stand) A LOT of people wer running right through the tube because of it. Didn't know if there was anything like that that you couldn't tell from pics... sounds good though. I am ready to be airborn next sunday...

It's a whole new layout Drew.
I remember the turn you are talking about now Dan, yes it was a bit 'blind'.

It was more than a bit lol..Just about every time I went over that I'd have to lock up the brakes and go super slow thru it or I'd get stuck up on the rails...

I ran into the tubes a lot my first couple laps because of that turn. Now it is just a 180*, somewhat, banked turn.

If that so called blind turn was holding you back and you kept making the same mistake lap after lap then no layout will work for you.

Are you talking about the "pit" that was before the 1st tabletop jump? It had a pipe jutting in from the left side that you had to miss to set up for the first table?

Yep dave, that's the one lol...
I learned that you have to stake out the premo spots on the drivers stand and if you can get comfortable in one spot (on the drivers stand) you'll be fine.

That was a tough spot to see...be easy to remember!
I'm leery of the new track layout. I don't know if we'll be racing until it changes again. My budget can't take another hit...

go slower Dave to prevent breakage. If your leery of the triple, don't triple it.

I'm more worried about marshalling than damage, some of those trucks looked like they were almost eye level.

And if I go slow, then I am bound to get slammed from the faster trucks approaching. It's not the triple, G ( ) it's the total of the layout. I view this as an advanced layout, and I belong on the sidelines. I can admit to being a beginner and get out of the way. If I break it on this track, we will be out for months....

They'd have to be free....my financial manager has informer me that I am seriously overdrawn on the RC credit account. I have to make some deposits into the House Chore Fund before anything else can be funded for the truck. ouch....
