Thats what I did for the last 2 gears, and the jammin people are saying that thats whats making them strip.

you might wanna try a whole new diff case... With th ebashing you do mybe its stretched or somthing.... Very possible that is throwing of the mesh

I did a full rotation, started the second, was all "oh s*!+ not gonna make it" when I was upside down, I hit the brakes, and landed on the rear. It was a pretty cool sound when it landed
