Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:so put the other pipe on and run it again easier to just run another tank of platinum.
The reason I say the fuel gives a power increase is becuase the JP-1 is a low end pipe, while the JP-3 is a mid range pipe, but I have a little more low end now than I did with the JP-1, no gearing change or anything.

Rob I think it's in your head. LOL
Run a few tanks of both the Trinity and the Werks through it and get some consistant results for us.
We look foward to your report.
By the way, nice King Heads parts.

I just ran 2 tanks of platinum.
First, I tuned it and the performance was good, but not what I was getting with werks, temps were 217, while werks ran at 202.
I then started leaning out the HSN and LSN in order to try and get the same performance as werks, and see what temp it would run at then.
It took about 1/4 turn on the LSN, and a little over 1/4 turn on the HSN to get the same performance with platinum as I did with werks, but with platinum, there was no exhaust smoke, and my motor temped at 288.
If I'm not feeling lazy tomorrow, I'll try to time run time of both fuels.

I guess when you're in the LHS as much as Rob, they're bound to toss you a deal once in a while. Heck, I heard he's got direct deposit from his workplace straight to the shop's bank!

guess it wasn't shimmed tight enough:
the $15 a replacement costs is well worth the 9 gallons it lasted IMO.
