Good Starter Box
#1
I am looking for a good starter box. It is for my MBX-5. I was looking at the mugen one http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info...ts_id/1743
or this ofna one http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info...ts_id/2414

I am looking for one that uses stick packs and not a gell cell. I like the ofna one because it has a handle.

Mike your supposed to say the TTR box LOL. I use the TTR box and it turns over my .27 good and a little cheaper then the Mugen one

Thanks. Going to go with the OFNA one. I just wanted to see if there was anything wrong with it

The ttr box is awesome. I just got one for my crt last week and its really nice. Has enough power to turn over my NIB novarossi plus21-5 motor without fuel. Just did a simple bump and off it went. Oiled the p/s to before that. TTR box is awesome

I would need the gel cell and a different charger.

It's only $30 (for bat and chg) at the max and you can probably find one used at a decent price...

Go gell cell... I don't mind the little bit of added weight and when it is charged it lasts forever...

I have the big OFNA box with the single 12v motor and gell cell.
Yeah it may be a little heavy, but I cant remember the last time I charged it, I bet Ive raced 3 race days with it, 4 weeks total because I skipped a week of racing. Ive even started other peoples trucks on this same charge because their box was dead Big Grin

Believe it or not, my MRC 959 charges it tooSmile
