Don't be lazy. Learn to bust your ass and then reap the rewards from it. The second you go anywhere with this attitude you will realize that it isn't going to work. Just check the ads in papers... people always need help.

i hear enron is hiring.

at 14 you arnt going to find nothing but grunt work! even at 16-20 that all people will need you for! get real good at doing yard work, painting houses, or even washing cars. you are not going to make big scrach at 14 unless you can do something that no one else in the world can do. find that nitch and youll be set for life!

I always wished I had worked at a car wash...not sure why. I've pulled weeds during a downsizing to save my job for another week, man that was hard work.

Don't ever work at Best Buy. I worked there... it was hell and the managers were a-holes.

I made a killing mowing on average 5 lawns a week. If you can get a job somewhere like turtle wax (you can't... too young) you can make a good amount from tips. From now try to stick to lawns or other grunt work found in the classifieds. My big money makers were when there were fests over the summer. I used to work at this italian shaved ice place at a couple fairs and made a KILLING!! Work all day, free food, free italian ice... LOTS and LOTS of $$$. If you can get into a place like that you will be set...

im waisting away today and tmo after school ripping out old carpet gettin reay for the new! theres a suggestion. i guess. well it is for me. I dont know if its offered but in my town and a few neighboring towns from 7th grade on you can umpire little league baseball. its awesome you basically stand out in the sun calling obvious calls and watching some cheap pathetic baseball (i only get 3-6th grade games but as a 7th and 8th grader i got the 1-2 grade games) but on average i make 10 dollars an hour and i get to choose what days i work and what times too. i just sign up for when im availible and then i get scheduled games even though you might only work 2-3 hours a day weekdays then like 5 on weekend you can make a killer amount of money. especially with all the exceptions like if youre home plate and the field ump doesnt show but you ump the game anyway you get paid for both and thats like 45 bux for 2 hrs. (the field ump is hardly needed anyways) or if it rains out withing like 2 hrs of the start of the game then you get paid fully as if you actually did the game. it rocks. those are just my concepts.
