I have a $150 digital scale that I will be donating to LHR. This will be for use by anyone that may want to weigh their racecar. It does pounds/ounces, no grams.
It's a scale made to weigh boxes for mailing stuff out at buisnesses. I have a digital scale that does pounds/ounces/grams at home already and this one is taking up space.
I will bring it next time I come to race.
Because there is so much extra room in the "smoking room" I will put it in there for now. Bernie and crew can obviously move it around as they see fit, it is their scale now.

yes, have you ever picked up RCDad's savage? (his race unit, not the one he usually runs). HEAVY! and that was with no wheels/tires/body/gas. Like 12lbs missing all that stuff.

If I had to lug around RCDads racer, I'd kill myself...That thing sure does stay planted in the corners though!

Now we all can weigh things when we get bored inbetween heats/races
I wonder if it should get put somewhere else though, so it doesnt grow legs and walk out the door.
Some may think it got left behind if its just laying around on the pit table in the smoking room.
Maybe I or someone could donate a shelf for it, to mount it on the wall somewhere, like inbetween the smoking room and the Pizza room. LOL

I think it would be good in the shop...I can hardly stand being in the smoking room for a few minutes.

In the end, its up to "the man" to decide where he wants it, being its his place
