Looking to get an E-maxx
#1
I am working out a trade with a dude on the (sic) Traxxas board to trade my HPI RS4 MT with the Novak5800 BL for his E-maxx, 8 batteries, with CVDs, RPM skids, and a few other good choice options. He was wanting 360 shipped or trade. I am pleased with the arrangement, but he has to see my pics first. His truck is mint with Revo wheels/tires, Big joes, and no bling functionable mods.
Here is the one:

Many of you have seen my RS4. Does it seem like a good trade to you?

Also, I have never owned a Maxx truck before, and plan to keep the stock drivetrain. Any weak points I should look out for?
Thanks!

Looks like a great trade. The only stuff I'd break on mine was the half shafts, but that one already has cvd's. Go for it lol..

I would get it.........if you bash your gonna want rpm arms when they break and aluminum bulks if they keep breaking too easily.

that looks like a fun truck

Just picked up a E-Maxx thursday night, and so far I love it. It is a tough truck and very fast for bieng electric. I mean it is faster the then my sportmaxx was ("of course I never had my sportmaxx tuned right). So I think is a good trade, and the upgrade possiblities with Emaxx is endless, since almost all Tmaxx parts will fit on the Emaxx, that and adding a Brushless system and you have an unstoppable eclectric monster.

When I had my E-Maxx I used a T-Maxx chassis, it was pretty cool.

You mean performance wise? I'm not sure there is a major difference in speed or power but I think the metal chassis is more durable. Here is more about what I did http://dads-toy.com/emaxxchassisswap.shtml

Nice job! How hard was it to fabricate a new linkage for the 2 speed?
