FS: Blue 2004 SRT-4 w/400+hp, only 8,800 miles (SOLD )
#1
Its time to let it go....
Im the original owner of the car since Feb 04'
Its been garage kept since new, its never been driven in the snow, and its only been caught in the rain twice in two years.
There are no dings or scratches anywere, there are only a few and I mean very few really small rock chips in the front bumper. You have to really be looking to see them.
The car only has 8,800 miles on it and the tires only have 5k miles on them.
I changed the oil with Mobile 1 and Mobile 1 filters every 2k -3k miles, the car has had 4 oil changes so far.
Ive done all the work on the car myself, except for the window tint.
The car has been completed for a little over a year now and about 5000 miles, Ive had no problems with it and its been very reliable as it is, tuned for 22psi using Amoco 93 pump gas.

Here is the list of mods done to the car.....

Im getting a different car soon, something new to work on Big Grin

I did the same thing with my 93' Cobra, and the 00' Dakota R/T, built them up big time, drove them for a year after and then decided it was time to start over with something new.
One of these times I'll learn not to dump soooo much time and money into them, because I cant keep a car more then 3 years for some reason LOL

Anyway....

I am not a fan of the SRT-4... but this is one I would but. It is amazing. If I was in the market for a car I would pick this up. It is about what I got my GTI for new and is in like new shape with more than double the power. Amazing build up. Good luck selling.

Very nice..my 16 year old wants it....how do I disable the extra 200hp you installed? Big Grin

And the wheel-tire combo is slick, but man are those sidewalls short!!! I bet you can run over a dime and tell if it's heads or tails!

But a serious question....what does all of the aftermarket mods do to the factory warranty? Does it weven apply any more to any part of the car? Or does the dealer consider it void? Who do you even take a car like this to for service (I know you service it yourself, but I couldn't) ?

Dave... no warranty. None. Maybe on seatbelts... other than that I would be willing to bet they wouldn't cover much. In theory they need to prove that the modification caused it, but in real life they don't have too.

actually as far as warranty goes there is a law about that. You can modify your car however you want and they cant turn down your warranty claim as long as your modification isn't linked to it. so in essence if a kid cho(Dan)ugh put a bigger turbo on his car and then later in life his still stock suspension has a problem. they shouldnt be able to not cover this. although the way things are supposed to be and how they end up are always different.
