Revo tracking around USA
#1
Not too long ago I sold my BB Revo and if you have seen some of the related posts, the buyer said the engine was fried, then it was spotted on Ebay and didn't sell. I found it again on Ebay, and it finally did sell when he relisted with no reserve.
Well...I found it again on Ebay, now the second owner is flipping it as a roller and selling the engine seperately.

So this Revo has been in Illinois, then Florida and now to Maryland Confusedalute:

thats cool. so basically that first guy just didnt kno wut he was doing and thought it was fried or is just a liar or was it actually fried?

No, it ran good when he got it, then I think he smoked it because suddenly it needed a piston and sleeve. I offered to have the sleeve pinched for him and instead he chose to sell it taking a major loss. Now the new owner is selling them seperately and will probably make his money back plus more.

His listing of the motor is very misleading the way he worded the engine needing a new P&S....

Yeah it is Dave, I didn't catch that until you said something.

Auction ended...resulting in a $30 profit Rolleyes

I am amazed that people aren't smarter about parting out lots like that.
He paid $405... sold out for a total of $435...minus the listing fees, he probably walked away with a whopping $20
