#1
Well for onroad racing i ordered up a full set of 40 series Road Rages and Velocity 6 rims. I ordered them late Tuesday night and they made it here this morning from Tower. I just glued them and they are ready for racing on sunday. Hopefully next week i will have my new custom painted lid from MRPAINTIN, check out their site www.mrpaintin.com

Wait a second, you bought Road Rages for a Revo/MT? May I ask why? They might work well on the indoor track but it's summer. We race outside unless it's raining. Who are you going to race on road with a MT? What are you thinking? Just curious...

Yes i do race onroad at Hobbytown and i do it every year. Its alot of fun and gives me something to do. The total for the lid was i think 78, including the lid, paint, shipping and the quality work they do.

Absolutley it's about having something to do !!! Especially with other guys. It doesn't have to be a formal track that's hours away from home and filled with highly modded racers. Have fun, do what makes you happy.

To each his own, I always say!

BTW, does anyone know if Hobbytown racing is free, or is there a fee?

Yes i would love to go to leasure every weekend to race, but with gas my parents would go nuts spending all the money driving to Joliet and back 8 times a month being its over an hour away. Hobbytown is about 5 minutes from my house so its no big deal to go there. It costs 10 dollars to race, and then includes transponder use.

The races are informal but fun. we usally have a good turnout. I raced a savage, a rs4 racer2 and a Ultra Comp with street tires on it. It's fun and close for us.I think I'll take Mr Seek and go to LH a time or two and hit DD a few times.
