Anyone want to set up 1:1 races?? Nothing too crazy.... As of now I just have an intake and new(ish) tires. I may have a turbo inlet pipe by then. I probably won't have an exhaust or be chipped though.... any takers for small money??

I dont like Geno because he rips people off that are new to the hobby. He takes advantage and sells people stuff they dont need. I used to work with him at my hobby shop but the reason I quit was because I didnt want to be associated with that kind of image in this hobby.

Not only does he sell junk but he repairs cars as well and ive seen a few of them that seem really fishy. Like c clips in a transmission, diffs that never got a drop of oil or grease. I dont even wanna get into what I hear about his drag race events. Funniest thing I heard was people having a channel checker and people turning on there radio's of the people drag racing at the moment and letting there buddy get the win.

Dont get me wrong Geno is a nice guy to talk to. Just ripping people off with junk and doing some really shady repairs turns me away. Thats why I chose to permanently disband from him and his stuff. And everybody that goes to the drag races that are locals by me can attest to this as well because anytime we get together everybody has a new story of how Geno did something like the stuff mentioned above.

These are some pretty serious allegations.

A guy turns on radios intentionally at races. That's total BS.

If i knew an adult did that to me or worse to one of my kids....intentionally, I'd literally put my foot up his ass, head over and do some major cash kind of damage to that guy's gear, and taunt him till he cried, left the area or threw the first punch.....

I find it hard to believe you post the guy's misdeads, then say you'd consider showing up at his venue.

Unless someone else steps in to refute what you said, there ain't no way I'm gonna take my kids to this event. Why risk having my stuff broken or worse having my kids see Dad get angry and then getting medieval on some asswipe.

Its defintly happened in the past im 100% sure on it. What goes on now I couldnt tell ya. I dont know if he did it or one of his buddies but he definatly didnt do anything about it from what im told. They didnt do anything but turn on the radio and make you lose throttle for a second or 2 and if somebody said something they said its a glitch. Totally bullsh!t if you ask me. Besides I heard they bet some pretty big money at his saturday night grudge races. Im talking like hundreds of dollars. I wouldnt be suprised if it got up to 1,000 dollars for people betting on each other.

I definatly have no need to associate with him and consider being labeled as somebody who will screw you in this hobby. Everybody knows it but whats actually brought up when everybody is around I dont know because I dont attend any of his stuff. Like I said before tho if people from here are going il probly go to hang out with them otherwise I wont go. Nothing but a bunch of freaking whinning babies that race anyway. If they lose its the end of the world for them and everybody around them. You never hear the end of the complaining. Races from 2 years ago are brought up all the time to add on to the never ending complaining. On second thought screw them, im not going. Im gonna stop typing now because I was about to post some really vulgar stuff untill I thought about it.

Of course you would pull out first. (Heck in just about any RC you would pull out first) I would be able to track it down in no time though.

And I agree with Rocco, Pinks is gay. In a fair race he would take my GTI in a second so I don't see how it's fair in Pinks to give the slower car such a chance. If I wanted to go on the show I would just hand the keys to rocco and save the gas money....

I like doing small races for fun. Auto Cross is where it's at.

And dont forget I live 2 minutes from the hobby shop and I know everybody that goes there and hangs with Geno so I hear stories like this all day long when I see these people. Il see if I can get some of those people to register here. And tex, like I said in my first post he's a cool guy if your just talking to him. Once you know how he works it all starts to come out.

A small percentage is from just hear say. The stuff about the repairs and selling junk is all true. Ive had first hand looks at some of his stuff and I didnt think somebody so rc involved and knowledgeable about repairs would do what he did untill I realized it was a setup so more stuff could break and so he can get my business. Ive dealt with a lot of people that have sold him garbage, done half ass repairs and set them straight with the part there looking for and pointed people in the right direction. The stuff about his races is hear say for me because I wont go to any of his events anymore.

The one to one stuff is Holeshot (quickest off the line) and burnout stuff. It's supposed to be close to the RC race, and I plan on checking out all the action for sure!

It should be a fun time.

For the FULL size vehicles (This is from their flyer)
"Super Burnout and Holeshot Contest" 2 burnout and holeshot sessions. 4:30 and 6:30. I believe the idea is to keep it from being a boring car show.

Still for the full size cars: plaques to the best of show, 20 coolest cars or trucks, 5 colest motorcycles, 5 best burnouts, 5 best hole shots.
