I don't think anyone should pass judgement on LHR at this point in time. It's a work in progress and I don't think the work will all be done before it gets cold out.

My prediction is that next year's outside season will open with a bang and the track will be hosting some huge events....events so good that 80% of you guys, myself included, won't make the D mains off road or on road, and then you'll all be whining about how out of towners are taking over the track.

I think Management (anyone like the HBO series Carnivale?) is doing a fine job so far, and they are in this for the long haul, meaning years, not just this season.

Just my opinion.

You seem to "know" alot about LHR and make good predictions. Can you give me some predictions on the upcoming lottery numbers?

 this is a real good read right here
looking for something new to buy.... like a lst2 or something let me know what u got..................

Kenji, the concern I've heard is that the track won't be ready for the Pro Series race. If the track gets bad press it'll take a very long time to change that image.
#41
well bruce you have added bad press a few times as well....you were just bitching about the FM, the back wall/fence, said somthing about the sprinklers, driver stand.... you dont goto big races anyway, or maybe i just missed your name on all the ones so far this year. your from chi town so you must travel...
#42
how the hell is LHR not going to be ready for the rc pro series???

they got 65 or so days to go...........all they REALLY need are to put the lights up, but they have plenty of time

I guessing but he might be commenting about the layout itself...

Reading about and seeing the pictures of the track at JCP Rd2, Leisure looks less intimidating...larger, faster, less abrupt jumps....maybe that has the thought?

To the guys who have run both tracks; How will the top finishers at Rd2 do on the LHR setup?
got paint?

With seeing pictures of other tracks where major races were held, I would like to see LHR build some jumps like that.
#45
Spoken like a true buggy racer.
#46
i thought the track at jcp was perfect. bout 30 second laps. 27 was fast.

not to big but enuf to let the motor wind up... you had to have a stump puller to clear the dragon back and tripple the center. my sportwerks wouldnt do it, but my p5, vspec and radical were doing it. you didnt HAVE to to be fast but it sure was fun lol.

Right now guys I have my hands full getting things done. I have not been keeping up with the track. With rain each week it dosn't give me time to make changes. There will be a new layout before the proseries race and it will be off the hook. Like I said before we are still a work in progress.

see listen to bernie...........lol you da man

Just sit back and wait now.

I can't wait until the onroad is open. I think it would be fun to watch.
