Onboard Cameras?
#1
Anyone ever try a onboard camera? Or know someone who has? I have seen only a few video's but I dont know how they were taken. I have found 2 on Ebay and I think I have picked which one I am going to use. I am not really worried about the weight. Just mounting it in the truck(Revo) and having a clean view.

there are a few videos that i found on yahoo, where someone had a camera on thier truck. It actually wasn't that cool. Kinda lame if you ask me. But he was just driving back and forth, through the greass and stuff. Its kinda hard telling how fast you are going to. late

I have one off ebay it works great, Nanny spy cam or something like that. It works well at slow speeds it can't take much shock though. I can put it in my clod buster and drive the truck outside in the heat. By watching the TV inside the air conditioned home. Big Grin

I am thinking about rigging up a system for a handicapped man at the local r/c rock crawling comp. Being that he is in a wheelchair he can't see his truck when it's up high on the rock hills. It would end the, "Turn your wheel to the right and back up", "Ok I can't see it though"

Here is someone's sample footage, after seeing this video I knew I had to have one.

Yeah, I sit in my room and drive my mini-t around the house, I've only done it outside twice, once with a friends mini and once with my revo.
