UE Center driveshats for a Tmaxx? Where to order?
#1
Tried ordering directly from UE themselves, but they are out of stock. Anyone else know of places to buy them from? Als only has the stock ones, are there any other online stores that might have them in stock? PN# 13512T

My poor Tmaxx is setting on shelf with nothing to drive the wheels.Sad

In installed the UE center shafts and to my elation it was easy as can be, I also replaced the transmission case to take care of a few stripped mounting holes.

But to my dissapointment my Tmaxx twisted one rear driveshaft, and tore the cup on the other one. Thank fully its not the UE stuff that failed, but the stock plastic crap.

Now though I'm left with a dillema. Do I drop the extra $120 for the front/rear UE stuff, or what other options should I explore?

I used MIP outer cvd's and ue Ti centers. I did though, use UE drive cups all around. If you go UE, don't go Ti for the outers, go with steel.

your going to have to have better diffs too, the stock once wont hold up anymore. The sliders will no longer be the weak point in the drivetrain it will be the diffs and they will go.

MIPs are OKay when you're running a small block. They won't last nearly as long as some UE steel CVDs though.

Keep in mind, UE makes 6mm, and 8mm CVDs (both in steel or titanium). Stock knuckles would use the 6mm ones. You'd need knuckles that take larger bearings such as the ones included with UE suspension kits for the 8mm CVDs.
