I was more trying to say that the conditions will be what they will be, next year. Lawn take time to get established, especially when getting a lawn established isn't your highest priority for the time permitted.

Maybe if the LHR crew was working on ONLY the big outdoor dirt track, and not everything else (onroad track), the situation might be different. I'm looking forward to watching the September RCPS race at LHR with the place being the best it can be based on the efforts of those who would "pitch in" versus "bitch-in".

If you aren't part of the solution, you just might be part of the problem.

satoch Wrote:No, actually I've raced at The Rockpile, Thunder RC, Bristol RC (which has gotten much better without $500,000), and once at Nitrofarm (before the changes). Frankly, I've not seen enough improvement at LH to make me want to go there again any time soon. Maybe next year the track will be in order.

Mike, what makes you think it's sod and not properly maintained grass? Hell, the grass at the park by your house looks better than the goat feed at LH...

He's leaving?? :joy: Big Grin And yet it's sad at the same time. I remember beating him in UMT my first run out and when he got pissed when I tossed his truck. I hope you're revving it for all of those guys at your new favorite tracks when they go to marshall your truck after every turn.

Does bristol, rockpile or nitro farm have an offroad indoor track, an offroad outdoor track and an onroad???

Oh and a building custom built for r/c racing? NO THEY DONT SO COMPARE APPLES TO APPLES MORON!!!!

Are those places in there 1st year of operation at they're current locations??? NO THEY'RE NOT JERK...

BACK OFF LH BECAUSE YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS HOBBY ... YOUR A BLOWHARD... YOU JUDGE THINGS YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SO CRAWL BACK UNDER YOUR ROCK AND STAY THERE

Who couldn't build a FOR PROFIT indoor, outdoor, and onroad track in less than 2 years? Oh wait, we know who.

Properly funded, and with proper construction management, this could easily be done in less than a year. You live in the suburbs, how long does it take to build a whole subdivision? Or a McDonald's?

Get real, I'm a salesman/project manager for a major national millworking company. The new Rock 'n' Roll McDonalds was done in 6 months. We were a major contractor on the project. We also build all of the Equinox Gyms in the country. I know how long this stuff should take.

Mich, you've crossed the line again and my tolerance has run out.

Wow I get the feeling some people dont like other people here LOL

I know I dont race at LH on a regular basis or even on a monthly basis but comeing from KS where I had to drive 2 1/2 hours one way to go to a outdoor track that was 1/6th the size of LH with more weeds then grass and very poor indoor pits I'm very thankful and happy that I can say that I (when I actually do) race at such a great place as LH

And I went to the NitroFarm drove 2 hours to get there and thought well I guess I never have to drive this far again to go to someplace like that, It seems like a great groupe of people that run it but it seemed like the track was small, no place to really pit and I would just rather give my money to a place that will do some good with it. (Not saying the NitroFarm wouldn't just wanna support my lHS and track)

Well, maybe I'll buy LH after it goes bankrupt and do things right. No businessman in his right mind would build a track to compete after seeing the non-existent sales figures of this track.

Oh, and BTW, I need help digging sewer line ditches for my FOR PROFIT side business. Anyone want to VOLUNTEER? No? Go figure....

Non existant? Today, about 35 guys showed up. 35x15 a peice = $525 plus gas and food=$600, x2 (saturday and sunday)=$1200 in 2 days! Plus say 10 for practice 4 days a week, at $8 a pop, is $320. So in a week, the track pulls in about $1520.

Just about everybody on this board has been to leisure hour to volunteer. I was there a couple weekends, even more recently when I helped them get the track open there first weekend. Everyone but you has helped in anyway.
