Those both look like really nice vehicles. I know the Muggy has the LST2 suspension, which has proven to be a LOT more durable than the original LST set-up. Make sure to put up pics and your opinion of them both when you get them.

here is what rc car action said about the losi 8ight:

ACCELERATION:
the 8ight is a rocket of the line and out of the corners. whenever i wanted more throttle, I just grabbed a handful of trigger and the buggy moved out. I really liked the feel of the 4 shoe clutch, (2 carbon, 2 alluminum). it was agressive, but i felt connected to the car, similar to the "linear feel" when driving and electric 4WD buggy. the best way to explain how the losi 8ight felt is to say that it felt very similair to an electic buggy, and that's a testament to losi's 4-shoe clutch. power wasnt abrupt (unlike a 3-shoe alluminum clutch) but was predictable and controllable. I felt as connected to the losi 8ight as to an electric speed control.

CORNERING:
I have driven many por drivers car and most prefer a lot of steering-so much that their cars often feel twitchy. adam's 8igyht went wherever I wanted it to, but it didnt have the breath-on-the-wheels-and-it-turns abruptness that can make race cars hard to drive. the 8ight carved tight lines in 180 degree turns, indicating that it has plenty of steering, even though you arent pushing it hard. at KZ, which is a much larger track, the 8ight carried a ton of off power speed. it coasted as if i were on the throttle. the buggy's drivetrain is super free. on power, the buggy held its line very well wander or push hard. in tighter corners, the 8ight didnt have any problems staying tight to the pipe.

BUMP HANDLING:
the revalation track hadnt been groomed for a while, so the bact straightaway was blown out. there were acceleration bumps on the entrance to the straightway, and brake bumps on the exit of the straightaway. as I grabbed more throttle to accelerate down the straightaway, i expected the buggy to kick around, but it never did. it drove through the bumps as if they werrent there. certain larger bumps and ruts in the sweeper did buck the car around a little, but I hit them squarly, the 8ight went right through them. I occasionally hi a bump or rut in the middle of the turn, and the car went of shape and took time to settle. I pushed it harder to discover the limits, and it was exceptionally stable.

JUMPING:
no surprise here: the 8ight jumped really well. it didnt have any unusual tendecies when airborne, and it was easey to control with throttle and brake. the rear end was a little soft and slaaped the ground from time to time at revalation, but at KZ, the buggy had the new 6 hole pistons, and it landed much better. as with an buggy, a good setup at one track might not be that great at another track.. it didnt take time to settle, and it didnt need much speed to get over the largest jumps. just hammer the throttle, and the buggy easily clears the triple. while at KZ raceway, I noticed one very interesting characteristic of the 8ight: it allways seems to find the wheels. as i got used to the jumps and speed needed to clear them, I often overshot the jumps or cased them pretty hard. the buggy then flipped end over end, but it allways landed on its wheels. the drake has also noticed this. i suspect that the narrow chassis has somethi ng to do with it.
