People with Kyosho 7.5 Based Rides

Hey, I found out something. Instead of buying a new $30 Kyosho fuel tank, you can just get this one;




It fits almost perfectly, all you need is to get 2 wing mount braces (the aluminum crossbars) and use those as tank posts. You have to angle them a bit to get them to screw in correctly (about 2mm towards each other) but then it screws in the stock holes perfectly. You could probably get this setup for about $15 out the door. You can also use the stock splash guard with it.

It doesn't hit the pipe or the center diff so that's a plus.

the kits (buggies) come with optional plastic posts for the fuel tanks just a fyi

Yeah but they weren't tall enough for this tank...

may i ask why would you take off the ofna 9.5 violator tank which holds
145cc and put on a smaller tank?

1.It's not legal for RCPS events
2.I was having what seemed to be half-tank leaning problems with it.
