I wasn't saying it was bad or anything, I listen to that song still... I was just making sure you were talking about the same song that I was thinking about.

so what amp would be reccomended for the infinty reference speakers. i will probably end up running without an amp for a lil bit tho. ill be definately buying a new battery, and hope that my alternator is good lol. but ive heard that some people run power capacitators. is this necessary? it seems that ill be pumping alot of juice once i get everything running....

how do you run without an amp? the head unit powers it? to tell you the truth that wouldn't even be worth running the subs IMO

i edited my first post** i would only run the speakers without the amp... i may not know alot but i definately know i need amperage for a sub lol

Since now-a-days the ECU controlls the alternator for how many amps it puts out so once you dip below a certain point the ecu kicks the alt into overdrive and gets the voltage right back up therefore making a cap useless in many new cars.

Ian don't lie..... it's just useless in your car. LoL J/K. And I will give it to your Type-R it hung with the Brahma...... for now. Hopefully a new box changes things. (I hope I get it done before you get your new sub.....)

ponch, a great bass song is serenity by godsmack. Ive seen that song played and blow my friends subs because it was just to much bass lol.

The little R didn't biff anything. (Ran with yes..... biffed, no.) The brahma is just overall nicer and I lost no money doing the swap. :-)
