Anyone up for big scale at LH again?
#26
You didn't hijack it if you plan on bringing it to LH on Saturday! Smile

Any reason why you haven't cut the weight in half (or more) and gone lipo yet?

Brian

PS: I'll try and be there by 10am ish. Hopefully it does not snow.

Seriously...from Woodstock

I55 south (pass I80)
exit on route 6, east

go 1/2 mile to first street on right (after overhead bridge) go right

I wish!!! too much yard work to do, I've had skunks living under my sunroom the last two winters and I'll be damned if I let them come again. I have to do some fencing

does anyone that's going have pairs of batteries/chargers i could borrow for a day? I'm starting to charge the packs after sitting for a while, and one of em's false peaking very frequently.. any batteries w/ deans would work. if you're not planning on using em of course.

I don't have 2 chargers.. but I do have 2 of the new LiMN packs that may work. Hmm err not.. they don't have deans on them.

Guessing your not going to make the 2 hour drive without batteries. Sad

Adapters...A little added resistance, but it's worth not having to screw around with plugs. Make some that have a tamiya plug opposite what is on the pack now, and deans on the other side, opposite what is on the esc.

I would not run Tamiya plugs with a high current, high voltage setup. I did what you suggested a few months ago and made adapters both ways.

So could charge packs with deans plugs on my tamiya plug style charger, and I also created an adapter to use a timaya plug battery with my ESC which had a Deans ultra plug.

While the charger adapter for deans still works when I ran a tamiya connector pack with the adapter on my Novak 5.5R setup it literally melted the tamiya plug because of the resistance.

Its Deans all the way, nothing else for me ever again.
