to be honest....don't even bring a rustler to the track, been there, done that...it doesn't work at all.

I just put a mamba max in my t4, its the 5700 / 9 turn brushless combo man this thing amazing very smooth power I'l post a pick l8r.

Yeah, just bought a B4 buggy. Going to try racing in Madison, Wi or trackside. Sportsman stock class. I'm a newbie to the racing stuff.

I would'nt mind picking up an electric car,
It would give me more practice time on the track.
What would be a good durable starter car?
I need to learn to drive better before i worry about going fast.

sounds like your on the right path to getting faster! slow is key at first, even if you have to roll the jumps so you don't wreck.

Brushless is great cause of low maintanence and all but the lh track's most popular class is still 19 turn truck as it has been for the past few years. I did notice some of the fast guys are racing mod classes.

I might have to pop in one of my starter box packs to see if my T4 is ready for action.

Would this be a good car to start with?
Whats the diffrence between brushless and non brushless.
Im looking for low maintenance.
Can you use regular batteries or do you have to use lipo packs with brushless?

you can use any battery type with a brushless motor. With a brushed motor u have too change the brushes and cut the comm with a motor lathe every few runs when racing. Brushless u do none of that.

When i checked the results for the electric racing they have not yet run a brushless class. il bring mine one of these saturdays and see what happens, It may turn out that all i can do is practice on tues. Which is ok i can get some track time during the week smoke free. My main focus is nitro racing anyway.But i would be nice to race sat evening from time to time.

I'll never go back to brushed again. Its brushless for me. And I'll probably never buy another sensored brushless motor, you are locked into sensored ESC's and Novak is about the only company going that direction.
