six, thanks for selling me the xtm backplate. It fit like a charm and is compatible my my old hpi rotostart! To hell with the damn pull start!
tonybr, it was a pleasure to finally meet you.
The truck was simply flying today. I kept hitting the inside rail because the truck turn too hard. How about that! My truck can finally steer thanks to those tires. I guess the low profile helps that much. Acceleration was great too. I am finally able to get enough speed around the corner before the tripple, accelerate, and clear the whole damn thing. Suspension is setup real nice. The rear just squats and it goes. No wheelies.
Too bad the truck drove a little too good. I started getting much more confident and aggresive and ended up breaking a tad too late before one of the turns and clipped the wall causing me to break and upright. I had no spares, so my night of racing was over.
I can't wait to race next saturday!
