What sucks though is the fact that you weren't allowed a ps3 and a wii, it was one or the other.

the 600 dollar one is the one with the big hard drive, wireless controller, and wireless internet. The cheaper one comes with a cabled controller, and a tiny hard drive and thats it. So 600 for that system, add another 100 for another controller so you wont be playing alone 700. Add a game and get 800. Pay for your online subscription and get to about 900. Add tax to all the purchases and it will be close to 1000. No thanks. Thats to much to play the boring sony games. And dont expect to get one unless your Number 1 to preorder. There wont even be 2 million for the release.

Like I said.... if you are looking at is ONLY as a gaming system, it is expensive to get the latest and greatest. If you actually have an entire High Definition home theater already then the Blu-Ray feature makes it more than worth it right now. The fact that is the best gaming system is a bonus at that point. I think it will be amazing but I almost want to wait a couple months to make sure they work out all of the bugs. (Though when I got my PS2 first batch I had zero problems and it is still going strong.)
