1/18 Scale
#1
Well I'm not sure if we have a 1/18 thread or not but I was kind of interested in them and wanted some opinions. Which are the best in your opinions? What are they going for new/used on average..... stock electronics? Brushless? Just looking for some info that is probably scattered all over right now.

Thanks
Dan

RC18T or RC18MT imo are your best choices.
A couple of upgades for steeing 7 your set....cheap.
You can go nuts w/ them too...upgades, lipo's, brushless...you name it

Yep RC18t, getting a completely stock one for $30 tomorrow, so they can be found relatively cheap now-adays.

i wouldn't say that 30 is what you'd normally find one for. about 90 i would say is average.
E-clips can travel at hundred of miles an hour and increase speed as they bouce off objects...if only mankind could harness this incredible power source.

I have a mini-t for sale if you are interested. I like my mini-t better than the 18t when I had one. My 18t always broke. I don't know if it was just me or what, but it didn't like me.

it depends on what your looking for. I had a mini-t and I hated it. Now I have a rc18mt and I like it. Rustysavage has a mini quake that he loves so I think it's up to user preferances. as far as brushless is concerned I personally like the options of the Team Tekin mini rage over the mamba systems. They don't require a comp to program and has more settings also the esc is waterproof if I remember right. I have heard that the kyosho mini's are nice. That will be my next mini purchase. I have yet to venture into lipo in fear of the big bang lol. I have good luck with the venom 1200's in the rc18 and recockulausstampede has ib1400's in his mini-t and it rips.

It's pretty sweet...I've seen it run before and it's like a bat out of hell. Needs a new body though! lmao

quakes are sweet but you have to get the se version and build it up from there. if you go the rtr route then you pretty much replace everything. when the spring comes ill make it out to a baash and show you my quake with a hyperion 5000 and 9.6v ib 1200's!
Same 'ol Fun!
