As for the reciever pack... I run orion 1600 Ni-Mh packs ... Ive run all day on a charge and had plenty of juice for the main....

For my controller i just went to wal-mart (shame on me) and picked up a pack of energizer 2600mil Ni-Mh Double AA's .... Had them for a year and still going strong. Charge the controller every few race days...

I had a venom pack in my maxx and that was a pretty good pack, it could go all day bashing, it was a 1200 Nimh and it was only like $19.00 at LH, in my buggy I'm not sure what it is, but it lasted all day yesterday (3 qualifiers) and then I was drivin' it last night to make sure I got a problem fixed and it lasted for that too. I will run it today for the practice in the morning then charge it when the first qualifier starts.

I made my own rx packs using 5 Energizer 2600mah Ni-Mh Double AA's from Wal-Mart, one of my packs is over a year old and still going strong, lasting all day on a charge.
Ive also had the same batteries in my M8 for over a year now Smile

would'nt that be 7.5 volts, I thought AA's where 1.5 volts each.

to make your glow igniter last all day (or for a month, depending) make sure you don't ever just leave it sitting on the glow plug for no reason. Only put it on the motor when starting, never let it just sit on there.

A LOT of people do that and don't realize it's killing their battery in the igniter.
