I just finished the math on what the company spends for energy consumption on monitors. Turns out the company is spending up to 3x more energy per year. Works out to $44/year for each CRT monitor, and only $14/year for each LCD monitor. Its based on a 8hr day average.
So the company will replace ~ 220 remaining CRT's with 22" widescreen acer LCDs over the next year.:joy:
