Thanks for the info Joe.
Is that a round charge jack I see on the side of the radio?
I take it that it doesnt come with a charge plug, since you went and did that modifying you said above?

I wonder if that jack is the same size as the one on my M8 battery tray...if it is, I have a plug I can probably use.

If not, Im sure I can figure it out when it gets here.
After all, that is what do for a living, dealing with electronics, wiring and so on. Smile

The M8 plug should work, JR plugs will not. JR is reverse polarity, dont use it.

Mine got here today.

I haven't got around to mess with anything, but the only thing I don't like so far, is that you have to use the USB to charge the stock battery.

HAGASAN Wrote:I like the React, it is fast so you just have to make some adjustments on the expo. It was takes alittle more setup time with the servos too, end pionts and trim. Leave the dual rates at 100%. Also, take the USB hook-up out of the battery tray and put it in the empty module, you have to take the radio apart with a Star head driver(?) but its fast, like 5 min to do. You can use a USB to charge but that takes too long so i had an old piece of servo extension wire and cut the female end in half to expose 2 posts so the React male connection slides in. This way i can use my charger to do it. When and if you do this, just cut off half to open the female end, you dont want the posts to be sticking out with no protection, dont cut it down to shorten it just open one side. I also run the antenna inside the RX box, no need to have it exposed!!
You guys need any help seting it up just LMK.

Joe, could you maybe take pictures and explain more in depth of how you used the servo extension to charge the stock battery? I don't want to charge it using the usb.

Also how did you get the usb into the empty module? It won't fit through the slots that are in it.

What kind of charger you using?

take a pair of small cutting pliers and open that hole more then just store the wires in there, make sure when you put the module back in the radio you dont kink the line, so take up the slack the best you can then put it back in the radio. Ill get ya some pics tonght.

You can also use an AIR, Futaba, hitec wall charger to use the plug on the radio to charge it up. DO NOT USE JR.

I am going to be using my Ice so I am just going to charge right to the battery, not through the Tx.
Thanks
