does anyone know of a starter box that works with the 8ight? The flywheel access hole is pretty small so i am wondering if i need a certain box, or if maybe this one would work.

I have this box.
You can line the front end up with the provided peg slots, and then you drill 2 in the back of the box for the rear end. Takes 5 minutes and works perfectly. Mitch Pacin uses one too with good results.

It works, and that is the one he has. He has it lined up with two pegs on one side, and then on the handle side he had to drill two of his own holes. It does line up really well though.

Also, you need to turn the wheel so it is the other way in the slot. I am using that box for my LSP as well.

take a razor blade or w/e, spin the flywheel, and slowly dig the razor bladeinto the wheel and cut about an 1/8 or so inch of both sides, thats what i did and it works perfectly.
i have this starter box.... http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info...ts_id/3431
no holes to be drilled.
thats how i did mine, and it works great ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Or you could buy the cheaper cooler box that doesn't need you to shave the wheel...

Ponch could take a picture of his box. It looks really clean. Like almost stock clean. I didn't notice they were drilled until the end of the day.

Store but it was like a year ago.
why did u drill holes in it
-So that I could not just run 2 pegs. My 8ight would shimmy left to right with just the front pegs, so with all 4 it just drops on and starts.

I think he meant the big white one. I know he has some of the smaller ones they give out at races.

I can't see doing that to as pricy a buggy as the 8IGHT. I can't help but think it was engineered the way it was for a reason.....
