Building a new Savage basher.
#1
Well I really missed my Savage after I sold it. I like my TTR ST-1 but I dont want to bash it. So I got a good roller from a dude in Alaska. Its all there, but I ordered the new Savage X radio box and dual slipper pad, and some new dogbones, but I have my S-25 motor and a Jaguar radio. I will be up and bashing nitro again soon!
ANyone up for a chilly Berwyn Bash? LOL!Idea

Cool Mike! Savages are fun. My diffs never lasted in those though, darn dual disc brakes. Keep the stock brakes and see how you like them. They might not lock up the tires, but they should do the job.

Mabye I'll keep the mini-t, mabye that was what I've been looking for all along. Something I can bash the hell outta. I'd probaby be up for a berwyn bash...I just have to get a rechargeable pack for it.

There is a BMX track in Elgin thats really fun to hit. Lots of big air. Large grassy field for a big ramp......

We try to go every once in a while. We also bash every sunday. Check the Meeting forum for directions.

My Savage is up and running. I took my JR XR3 radio out of my Stampede - it don need no stinking 3rd channel - and installed it in the Savage. Got my old 8 gallon S-25 motor and up it fired! First pull too. Gota love the old tank of an engine from HPI! I am ready to bash! Whos with me? Who can brave the frigid month of Febuary for a Berwyn polar expedition bash?

No, not this weekend. Were having people over on Sunday and gota clean the crib. And unless i am at a bears game, I am not one to suffer this kind of cold.
But hey, lets get together for a winter bash! Say, in late Feb.
