I have heard those as well as the Werks clutches work well, although I have no experience with them. The ones that are supposed to release all spring resistance once engaged (to reduce any slippage of the shoes once engaged) also caught my eye. I do not remember who make them though and they were quite pricey....

That's it... isn't it over $100 or something?? How is it able to provide tension before the shoes engage, but then completely release all tension once they are engaged?? How tuneable is it??

I have a Werks clutch...still undecided if I like it. I've heard guys either love them or hate them. They will handle the 1/8th scale buggy no problem...it's just a different process for adjustment. If you have experience with a Centax clutch, you would probably like the Werks.

they are like 120 danwhat it does is there are springs inside the flywheel also that work with the inertia of the flywheel as the shoes open the little 3 pronged bar tunrs and pushes the shoes against the bell so that the clutch springs are tryin to pull the shoes back
