are aluminium parts legal?

My mad driving skills are in no way shape or form ready to race @ the track but when I can finally make it around the track w/o crashing into something/someone are aluminium parts legal(A-Arms,Shock Towers ect...)?

Racers just don’t run them as they are heavier then the stock parts which could slow you down.


Also if they weren’t legal then you couldn’t run nitro cars or trucks (you chassis and chassis braces are made of aluminum). lol

Couldn't tell if you were messing around though. I'm not that familiar with ROAR rules. I didn't know if anyone at the club races weren't going by them. And I didn't know what clas he was talking about, I know buggy and truggy its not, but didn't know about GT and MT.

My guess to why some tracks won’t allow those parts is because if you make say the front end out of aluminum then when ever you hit another car that is made of plastic, the car they hit will break and you continue on as if nothing happened.

As for alum. i could never understand why they wouldn't allow it! That would have to be the most retarded rule ever. Also that would eliminate everything besides duratrash!
