For all you people that race electrics, what batteries do you guys use? Ive heard the gp 3300s are good but im not sure. Also do you guys just buy the loose cells and make your own? If you do do you guys use any soecial solder and stuff? all the help would be appreciated.

Why a warning??? lol.

GP3300's are a good cell, but there are higher capacitites out there now. I have them in my starter box and they work fine, I got them 2 for $18 shipped on ebay. Very good quality.

ib 4200's seem like one of the best. I mainly use venom packs 3300's last quite a few min and the packs hold charges well. plus they are relativly cheap. Now venom has come out with a 4700 so hmmm yea I'll be gettin them

as far as race packs, we always want the best so we are currently running IB 4200 wc cells. for upper level mod racing its a must. the gp3300 packs are the burliest batteries there are. charge them 3-4 times a day beat the piss out of them and they just take it, the newer 4200 seem to not liek the abuse as much. i do build my own batteries, but the main reason is for car fitment and tray discharging. hope that helps ask if you got any more ????
