They take alot OF $$$ to make raceable. I would look for a higher end truggy used or save some more cash and buy something updated if you want new... The LSP will end up costing you mor ein the long run...

wow that sucks. The lsp was one of the few recommended to me before for a good starting out truggy.

thats what I figured rocco. I like the setup of the lsp and for nib at 329 I think it's a killer deal. They are selling all day long new at 400-450 on ebay. I will mainly practice with the truck since I watch my kids on sundays. Of course toss in the occasional bash.

+1 to Rocco, but both are inferior to other truggies out there. With the release of the 8T and the xray i am sure you will see people selling Mugens, Kyoshos are Jammins to get the new flavor of the month.

I guse youreally need to ask what are your plans for it? race, bash etc. How much do I want to spend

Do you have any electronics or engines now that you can use.

Addicted if you are fgoing to use it as stated above the lsp will be fine. But if your just goign to play around the yard and stuff why a truggy verses a normal mt?

all I have is some radio gear I would have to buy a engine pipe servos etc. Thats why I was looking for rtr and new. Don't have to worry about a half blown engine if I buy used off ebay

I would vote for the LSP. I think you can get them fairly competative for not a whole lot of money. Couple of steering mods to get a little more throw, double up or upgrade the ackerman arm, etc. A more rigid chassis is nice, and I would say aluminum arms are just about a must as the plastic ones flex a LOT. I would definitely take an LSP over the mutilator, but if you are serious about racing you would probably be a little better off with a newer truggy. I love my LSP though. (Soon to become LSP's in another day or so.)

Yeah I can't complain, that's what Joe had and i'll be fine with it:crazy: hehe I'd like to have gotten something a little better but me having to sell my toolbox to get caught up on bills sucked, but what ya gonna do. Go for the lsp, we'll see which one is better?! lmao

That is true. LoL In the end I will be able to have 2 really nice LSP's built up with probably enough parts to build a third stock one. I am going to move some parts around when my newest one gets here and then possibly put one up for sale either for cheap in stock form or a bit more with a BCE chassis and some other goodies.
