There was just a thread on racing the Savage. I bet you could find it with a search. But the main things were:
Low center of gravity chassis - extended if possible Whatever you can do to lighten it Lower the stance so that the dogbones are level to the ground Get the right wheels and tires And go.
You're never to old to be immature
