Anyone ever use something like this to clean parts?
http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/di...mber=95563
Otherwise, I usually end up using 409 and dish soap. Loose dirt I blow off with my air compressor, and of course, I use motor spray for the engine grease.
I tried denatured alcohol, but it does not work as well as 409. Neither does simple green.

Purple power should work well as well. However read the warnings, it can dry out rubber and you really don't want it on your hands! Strong stuff.

i normally jsut use wd-40 to clean all of my parts. i usually spray down the plastic parts. and for the metal ones, i spray a cloth and wipe them down. seems to work nicely.

i just usually take the car apart down to the chassis after every trip to the track and wash off the chassis in the sink w/ soap and water and clean the other stuff by hand.

I made my own parts cleaner
Old air pump from a fish tank.
Some double sticky servo tape.
Small cup.
Put tape on bottom of cup and attach it to the top of the pump.
Saves yourself $95
Worked fine for cleaning bearings

OK, put the cup ON the pump, pour in cleaner, put parts in and plug in pump. The vibration will loosen all the crap trapped in the parts.
