USPS is rasing the price of stamps again!

Starting May 14, 2007 the price of stamps will be $0.41. If you got a bunch of old ones lying around, don't forget to get those stupid ass 2 cent stamps to cover the difference so the post office won't return your letters.

That’s why you don't put a return address on it unless it is bills or something really important (i.e. make the person you sent it to pay for it).

USPS is good, UPS is the one who needs to step it up. you have a probelm when you cant get a package from somewhere in illinois to about an hour away in one day. usually takes them 2-3 days. USPS is a one day turn around. if something is shipped monday from california, i can get it wed with USPS

I thought too till they lost a 500 dollar package of mine for 2 weeks... And kev, ups insurance is WAY better

yeah thats true....UPS is normally quick when your shipping to another state, but if you ship within the sdame state it takes the about the same time...I mean come on.

UPS ships 7 days a week correct?

i think cali to here is every bit of 5 days... Usps priority is 3. BUT... You cant track usps priority

It took USPS 9 days for me to get my charger from Champhain (SP?). If I ship UPS the person who I am shipping to will usually have it the next day or the day after. Fed Ex is pretty good too, but UPS is the best IMO.

i use usps priority for everything 2-3 days everywhere, IL is a day. You can track it if you get delivery confirmation for a whopping 50 cents extra

But on the mailing thing I've never had a problem with USPS I ordered something once using UPS and the jack ass delivered the package to the wrong house and UPS took there sweet ass time to find out what had happened, I got lucky and happened to be walking around found my package a block away at the same house number wrong street. The only thing UPS did about finding it was set someone to give me a missing package survey... That I had to mail back to them. I'll be shipping USPS thanks...

They are related, rising fuel costs make the cost of stamps go up. Mail trucks do not have great MPG.
