Does anyone know the biggest gear that i can get a CB for the IGT?

im looking for something in the neighborhood of 18/22.

with the stock gearing the car hits second and in less then 30 feet(if even that) tops out at 46mph (this isnt a shift point issue at this point as the car is just way under geared)

FYI i do not have that leak monsater stock .28 i have a brand new O.S .30 EB modded engine in there aqnd it has tons of low end so the low gearing allows it to have killer acceleration and not so good top end, the engine can easily still have great acceleration but the gearring needs to be more for the engine

this would be a good gear if i was track racing but im not, mainly a parking lot basher

i was not thinking baout getting kyosho gears as they dont go high enough (atleast not that i have found) soi was looking at possibley OFNA or LOSI

AE has some bigger CB's for the MGT, I have a 16t on my buggy check with them

isnt that only a 1 speed CB thou? im looking for a 2 speed CB with about 18/22t

also the IGT breaks sux but im working on fixing that

For the brakes pick up the upgraded set of pads, I think they're $35 ish.


Definately check into Ofna, I think they have some of the bigger tooth CB's available.

they dohave some bigger ones, but not big enough.

i was directed to losi as they sell CB's up to about 25, looks like thats what im going to do.

yea the brakes work good for about 1-2 minutes then heat up and are garbage.

i will be upgrading the fron pads and adding a second one pad set up fron too for better stopping

These are supposed to make it stop real well and consistant.
