Went to hobby town, picked up some linkage parts for the brake, and got it back together. So I decided to test it out.
This CV-RX is packin tons of power, even with the 22t clutchbell its still rippin wheelies like crazy, on pavement, grass, dirt, wherever, I'm not complaining because the 22t clutchbell makes them a little more controllable. :p: .
The brakes on the other hand are still being really weird, when im coming off a full speed run and hit the brakes, the tires lock up, but as I slow down, the brakes are weak, I figured they were just getting to hot so I decided to just do some slow runs and brake.. nope, I can NOT get it to come to a full stop, it just keeps rollin at like 2 mph.
While I was running my maxx some guy pulled up and said he had a revo and is gonna go lookin for some construction sites sunday, so thats cool.
edit: oh yeah, and I burned my hand on the exhaust tip lol I forgot I have it pointing down now.

Sounds good man, just keep messing with that brake linkage and a good setup will come to you soon...
you have a "L" shaped servo horn on the throttle?

You have a good servo, the 590 has 85 inoz or torque and should be more than enough power to stop your LRM.
What about checking your radio end points. EPA? Might need adjusting so you get full 100% brake action.

Ive adjusted the end points and stuff.. I dunno. Hopefull I get a chance to mess around with it tomorrow. Its like, with one setting, the braking power is so weak, I estimate it would have takin half the front straight to slow down so I can take the first corner at the old leisure hours track, then I tighten it like 1/8th of a turn or adjust the linkage stopper things just a little, and suddenly its locked up without even hitting the brakes on the transmitter.

you only move it 1-2mm's when setting the brake linkage. Don't move it like 1/8in cause it will be a dramatic change.

I got my brakes workin great today (rolling endos down the sidewalk ) .... so of course something else had to spoil my fun lol
As I was running my maxx about 1000ft away (of course stuff has to mess up far away from you) I noticed I lost steering, so I nailed the throttle and got it on a curb to avoid my maxx being crushed by a car. I get over there thinking the worse, that I fried the digital servo... nope, the screw came out and the servo saver popped off... Figuring it was an isolated incident, I screwed it back in and continued.. a tank later, half throttle comin down the street, I go to brake.. uh oh, run away. I had to give my maxx a swift boot in the face to stop it... the screw came off so the servo horn popped off. They were screwed in pretty tight, so I don't know how it happened. Is it safe to threadlock these in?
edit: My rear sportraxx tires are showing quite a bit of wear, im gonna switch them tot he front and stop using these on the street
edit2: You know how for most people, it takes a few pulls for the first start of the day, then one or 2 pulls after that? Well for me the first start takes 2 pulls, but then every time I go to start it after that it takes like 30-40pulls (and im not exadurating) Its been like this since break in now its really starting to get on my nerves.
