Yeah if they were the same thing, my life would have been so much easier when I went to pick one up..Hundreds of mbx5 prospecs out there, and like 5 5R's out there f/s.

08-26-2007, 08:07 PM
Well im thinkin about new probably, just because i know how easily stuff wears out and everything, like i was cleaning the truggy today and already the clutch bearings are screwed, and stuff like that. But if i cant afford new, ill keep you in mind.

Ok you want me to list i guess,
clutch bearings, a pin popped out of the cvd and cut a line in the arm, and the turnbuckle thing, so its getting ready to crack. Tires worn and coming unglued, the steering post bearings got pretty dirty and i tried to clean them but theyre kinda sticky still. Body getting cracked. Ill think of more if you want.
08-26-2007, 08:31 PM
But either way, ill much rather get new so i know exactly how it was built and so i know how to rebuild it and what not.

wow thats what you call alot getting worn out??? man you do have alot to learn, a set of tires?!?! wtf do u expect all i can say is wow. when u start going through a list of parts like that in a race day then u can bitch

How many times do you think i raced in a month? I raced the bash and 1 club race. 2 races total, and maybe 4 practice nights on the whole thing. Thats not much driving.
