I've been thinking about getting a buggy, but I'm not sure what to get. Should I get a used roller, because I don't really need the radio, and can probably pick up a nice engine cheap, or should I get some type of rtr? Also what's a good buggy to get, from what I've read it seems ofna and kyosho are some of the top buggies.
Thanks for your help.

ofna jammin (only the jammin if you plan on racing, no other ofnas are race worthy IMO)
Mugen MBX5
Xray XB8
Thunder Tiger S3
There are others that are good race buggies but my mind just froze up. lol
I would buy a slightly used roller, a new GOOD motor, and a decent FM radio (spektrum preffered)
also good servos are a must. ........if you plan to race that is, which it sounds that way.

I got the spektrum already, thats why I thought a used roller and motor made more sense.
Thanks for the info.

Pick up the newest edition on XRCars. The test the top 6 buggies and give a good break down of them. Should help in your decision.
