I brought my 5yr old son along. We picked up a paintball gun, a pair of R/C fighting warrior robots with customizable armor and weapons included! And lots of stickers to decorate his Power Wheels with.
The robots are friggin hularious! We played all day long with those things.
I wanted some trains and a heli, but Christmas is coming after all.....

We were there showing of our MCD line of 4 wheel drive 1/5 scales " Innovative Hobby Products / Largescalerc.com " Anyone stop by ?? Me did several demo's and I have a video that will show you how they are not slow at all. If you know how to make them fast ! The F1 car from Molzer is also another good example of a real car scaled down to a racing machine. I'll have many pictures & video links to share. It was a great show with tons of people, dealer's & public both. I'm extremely tired, but can't wait for next year ...

Were you the guys that were jumping the 4wd 1/5th scale? They were snappy and jumped great! Best 1/5th I've ever seen.

Yea, The demo we did on day 3 with our prototype Baja 1000 was awesome. We got the gears right for the short track. The new design allowed driving a tight track for a 1/10th scale car !! Video soon to come of cool 1/5 scale action. Thanks, the noise helps too !!

Mozler had a buggy that looked better than the HPI 5B... It had a clear body on it. Was that your buggy? or similar to it?

It's nothing like those ass end heavy 1/5th scales. The Baja 1000 is a 4wd vehicle with the motor in the center! It's nicely balanced and jumps beautifully. It's also much snappier than any other 5th scale I've ever seen. All of that while turning like a Revo!

We were over there at there booth several times. I did not see the buggy in question ? We sell FG products as well. We did Not bring any to the show. Being as they are a main supplier in the US for them. We were more interested in introducing the US to the MCD line of 4 wheel drive vehicles. We are the US importer for this brand & this was our first show to introduce them. It went very well. Here is a link to our last demo with the new generation Baja 1000. This was a very small tight track. I would bet that any 1/8 scale vehicle would have had troubles driving on it as well as this video shows. Still tons more to come .....

That was us. I personally put that together before the show. That probably got the most attention out of all of our stuff. We hope to offer it soon in a ready to run deal. The cost factor right now is pretty high. We were working on that with many other dealers of batteries & motors at the show. I believe that the way it is, it is top notch as far as quality goes. We'll see if a lesser cost product will match the performance !! Remains to be seen ....

We have great hopes for this prototype becoming an RTR combo.
This new technology is amazing, from the tests we've done so far.

The buggy looks great, although I just don't like the look of the body, as it looks too much like a smart car (I don't like the bowl look).

This is the only one at the moment. It was our first test run. Spins the tires, like no gas burner I've ever seen !!

I thought the whole idea of 1/5th scale was that they run on regular unleaded gasoline. They are cheap to run, the motors last a long time and are no maintainance. Having to charge batteries is in complete contrast to what makes 1/5th scales so great IMO.

I must say Im pretty impressed at how quick the baja 1000 truck is. I was looking at that, but that price tag steers me away.

I agree somewhat. Nothing will beat the sound of a 2 stroke with a JetPro ! I for one will be a gas man. But when it comes to speed, this baby is capable of out running any gas engine out there, if you can hook it up ! The idea is to make them have the ability to run in a neighborhood with no one knowing. At least not being bothered by noise. Besides, anyone here seen the 1/8th scale electric kits ? Electric power for bigger vehicles is an up & coming thing. Taking the noise away for the 1/8th Buggys, Truggys & Monster Trucks is the same deal. No doubt these are for a certain portion of the market. Maybe not me & maybe not you, but we already have people wanting one even at the higher cost they are presentyl at. Time will tell .....

They are talking that this engine is capable of 7.5 h.p.. Our new Dyno will come in very handy. We'll be able to give actual HP & RPM readings here very soon. Being able to actually tell people what adds power & how much !
