J-Dub Wrote:Well. It's hard to speculate what would be good for a beginner. Not an 8ight. from what i've heard.
While we're on that, what would be good for a beginner...something thats forgiving and fairly not picky. I was looking into getting a buggy myself.
a Hyper Buggy? A Jammin buggy? (just saying because parts are boiling out of the earth)
I began buggy with a losi 8ight...well I had a TTR for a few months, then got a 8ight, so I basically started out with the 8ight. didnt have a problem

All I gotta say really, is that Axial is alot of motor for that buggy. If you're just gonna do bashing its fine, but for racing it'll prolly be uncontrollable, I'd think

Czech-it-Out Graphics Wrote:RC8's RTR version has the most kit parts of any RTR out there, same material quality etc. losi 8 still has a lot of issues, im sure ill get flamed for that one, but just walk around at the track and look at all the broken losi's. Rc8 drives alot better as well. There really are no other RTR's I would consider than these 2. kyosho readysets are GARBAGE, sportwerks are alright buggies but starting to be outdated
mike, the losi has updated quite a few things lately. i got a new one for christmas, (paid for hald of it) and they have quite a few new features on it, starting with the radio tray having only the rear of the battery box flew which is supposed to help with servo issues, new brake pads, they did something with the steering which seems to give it more on power. and a few more things. I know this was from a while ago, but just stating what i saw

yeah guess thats true...well i got the race roller cause i got a good deal on it off ebay $430 shipped....they put it together nicely, but i personally would never buy another race roller if I had the option of the kit. i would rather put it together myself
