I htink you need to be more specific on what your looking for....
on road or off road.
What scale, 1/18, 1/10 or 1/8 or monster truck or truggy...
1/18 would be the micros like mini t and others
1/10 would be your gas trucks or stadium trucks
1/8 would be your buggies
truggy, is a monster truck on a buggy platform ( specific to racing mostly)
Monster truck. Ie Savage t maxx revo. can back yard bash and race
You should check with your track if its a smaller indoor track it may just me micros... People on this site will be a great help but you need to be a little more informative in your auestions...
A friend will help you move, but a REAL friend will help you move a body.

Yeah thats one of them the other is garys hobby shop in racine WI, no scam, just not sure of what i want yet.... i dont know what to get. i want something i can run on the harbor hobbies track i guess....
sorry if i have been vauge, or fishy(?, im just not sure yet.
I bought a car froma guy on another forum i am on for volvo's Quote:We'll I think I have lost the rod thing that makes the front wheels spin. I might still have it but its not on the car, but the car will drive the rear wheels as of right now, so it runs just fine. Would you want the controller also? Ill assume you do cause the car has the servo controller built in and everything. Its a little beat up, but nothing major mostly just dirty, its an offroad car, was really fun just stopped playing with it. Still has the cover but no spoiler, it actually wasn't in the box when I first got it, even though it was supposed to. Comes with the battery and charger and controller.
So i will run that at the house, and in the park ect. but i want a car that i can work on and run at the track. i am just getting into the hobby, so im not sure i guess.

im not trying to scam here, just get into it. i have played around with my friends nitro trucks, and electric car before, but he never was into them and they interest me... i like making things work and go faster... i just dont know much about this whole thing. i am reading uponline ect. until the car comes in, then i will be able to really get into this. but i would like to be able to race at harbor hobby. i dont like giving away my exact location on a forum right away, but i am like 3 minutes north of harbor hobby, off of sheridan. anyone from here live around there want to teach me stuff?

Ok Ok .... Your not scamming. Maybe the best place to start Alex would be a couple of new magazines. I suggest Hi-Torques R/c Car or Extreme R/c both are great mags they will help you get your feet wet and hopefully narrow down what your looking for.

I would suggest hanging out at the track a bit and see what people are running there. Most will be real helpfull I would guess. Prolly the best bet to get the right setup
