Rustler With Paddely Meats and a Horizontal Stabilizer!
#1
You like my collage? Big Grin There are a lot of pics... Just choose to click on the ones you want Wink (1010x758).
In retrospect, I need to add some weight to the front of the truck. Maybe a brick! I couldn't keep the front end down in order to steer! But yeah, other than that... These paddles are made of pure awesome!

Parts that I bought at the LHS (Thanks Joe!):
HPI Hellfire wing
HPI Hellfire Wing Mount
Panther Tire Razor
Panther Tire Paddle

Assembly Completion:
For those curious about the wing and body assembly, the wing and mount are a direct fit! Kind of... the spur hits the mount a bit on the right side so it needs to be dremeled a bit (see pics). Other than that it fits as it it were made for the rustler (needing to drill holes and add harware aside of course).

A very short vid. Sucks, but its all I could get. The battery died too quickly at the beach for me to get a video there. Bummer!

Lol funny enough, even though it's a truck. It does resemble a desert buggy.
LSP lots of Khz, Werks .28 8 port.

I love the way it handles now! I didn't think that the wing would make any difference in the handling of the truck but.... Boy, was I wrong! Especially at higher speeds. Of course, I haven't tried the anaconda's with the wing so I'm not clear if its just the wing, it may be the panther paddles as well.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it... The feedback is the only thing keeping me goin in this hobby. Its so expensive for a play toy Big Grin ..... Then again... I havent gotten into cars yet. I'm sure I will be in for a rude awakening when I want to start playing around with my grand prix

Ya better stick with the RC car's, cause in the long run you'll go broke with the real cars! These RC's ain't cheap by no means but take it from someone who's been that route!

Want a fast Grand Prix? Get a GP GXP with the 5.3 V8. Those are pretty quick. Smile

Be sure to post pics Smile Which parts did you get exactly? If your going to use the HPI mount, your going to need to shave a bit off depending on how big of a spur you have on there... Heres a pic of that.
Heres the left side:

Well, for part numbers I looked up what you ordered from me for this in project.................................Wink

Thanks for giving the reason for the one mound being dremeled like that, I was kind of wondering why you did that. I've converted my Pede over to the new XL-5/VXL style trans (internals and all) late '06/early '07 and am running a new style 90t spur gear, so I'm now kinda curious what would happen on my truck since you've mentioned it.

I'm pretty sure the spur would be around the same size. From what I've seen of the newer spur setup, its the same, but the spurs are just wide in the middle(clearance-wise).
