Jdub, it's stamped on the block too, I just didn't know where (till now). It's a D16Y8 motor.
I wish it was the b16/18..... But oh well.
Oh and I'm burning oil like a mofo. From what I've read I may have shot piston rings.:mad:

be better off with an rc8 but hell i would take 50 a month rent a ride any day. Im paying 70 atleast every 1-2 weeks for gas

burning oil? Hmmm...Yeah man looks like you got a turd engine. don't let that ruin hondas for you. all the hondas in my family ran till like 190k and were sold/traded still running good. I was kidding on the selling the car/getting rc thing there bud lol
Took 1 qt of oil and it's back up to where it's supposed to be. I'm checking for leaks tomorrow b/c as of now it's a bit wet outside
I know it's not normal but is 1 qt in 1100 miles somewhere near ok? or bad...

Both have a high-quality product. lack of maintenance would be the problem with the engine I bet.
