The only reason they don't seperate them, because there usually isn't enough truggies there to begin with. Lots of folks picked them up over the summer, so hopefully they'll show up during the winter months and consistently get their own class.

so your telling me if i go to the pro series there gonna run unlimited and production monster truck together? I think not. What your thinking of is lack of people at a local track. The only reason they combine them is so we can race, if they didnt combine the 2 then nobody gets to race. At the pro series they seperate the 2 classes because theres always plently of people to do that. And this will become a rule for next year for fuel tanks. I sure hope they ban those trinity tanks. Make um 125cc or smaller. Even if they do allow them you still have to add fuel into the tank for your maditory pit so theres really no point in running a bigger tank then. Kinda defeats the purpose if your adding fuel when you dont need it. Besides my truck will be slightly lighter and A WHOLE LOT FASTER :p:

Mich, reread my last post. I'm not talking about the Pro Series races. Of course there is a big enough turnout for those races to be seperated by, not only class, but expert and intermediate in each class.
I am referring to our normal weekend races at LH, Rockpile, Nitrofarm, Glitcher's, Northern Hobbies, JJ's dirt Heaven, Hardesty's, Dirt Dawgs etc. They still don't have enough truggies for these guys to run in the own class as they are supposed to so they get lumped in with us so everyone can race. Ok, so be it. How do I somewhat level the field with my MT? I use a bigger tank and don't have to pit in a 15 min. main that's how.
If they change the rules in the Pro Series races and I'm racing in a Pro Series race that day then I'll put in my 125ml tank. At least I have the option.

With how popular Arena trucks (truggies) have become, I doubt once the new track opens, it'll be a problem getting them to run in seperate class. When we were all racing on Saturday nights, 90% of the truggies were K2's converted. Now with all these new trucks coming out, (Jammin, TTR) and the LSP and the Mugen conversion kit, I bet it wont be a problem.
So go ahead and strap a 1:1 tank on there =)

Dirt Dawgs ALWAYS splits up Arena's from MT's.

just finished installing the mugen tank and im very pleased with it. Its almost a direct bolt on but wasnt really any trouble putting it on at all. Seals awesome and is the stock size. And opening the lid is a lot easier then the revo tank. Now i just gotta figure out were to put my battery and reciever now. Either were the old gas tank was or were the empty spot is for the dual steering servo's. Not that big of a deal tho. Looking forward to racing now.

That's cool Mich. I'm sure it's better than the stock tank. I'm just sticking extra fuel tubing inside my Trinity tank for the race in Dallas to reduce its volume. I got a call from the race director Jake earlier today and that's what he suggested.
I like the layout of parts on my truck as it is but I'm going to be using 4 digital scales to check the weight load on each tire, like Slayden shows, to see if I need to add weight anywhere for proper balance. I hope you can find the proper balance for your truck with your new layout.

I know how to spell dude, dood. I better not see you write "kewl" again either.
EDIT: I decided to edit this because I don't want to stoop to any levels I shouldn't so if you read this before I edited, sorry....I need to remember Mich is still just a kid :p:
