mikes best ever race injury was either him crashing into the steel door frame in our room at the nats OR when he ran out of our room after crushing his skulland slipped on the wet sidewalk and landed on his face. not figuritivly he actually landed on his face. it was rough nite for the kid but it was fun to watch

Times are rough on everyone in one way or another.

I dont see all the money I have spent in this hobby as a waste. I met alot of good people,gained some friends and had alot of fun while doing it. Those days are in the past. They could live again,they might not.

I am out of racing because just like Tune. It was wise for me to get caught up on everything I have. Racing didnt put me in a hole. Doc. bills for my son did. Plus with paying off my truck and looking to move. I decided it was best to just step away. But come Oct(unless something doesnt come up),I plan to restock and rearm and head back to the track.

But things have changed for everyone. Lost interest,no extra money because of bills,lower pay,or even gas. Others have moved on to other new hobbies that take up their time and money leaving none for RC. While others just got bored with it because they werent getting into the A-main or they kept on breaking. Whatever their reason was for quitting. To them,it wasnt fun anymore.

Everything changes,everything evolves and this site,the people on it or at the track are just good examples of it. Its sad that its happened like this. I dont have all the bills and other issues in life that many others here might have. I am not married,I dont own a house yet,I dont have kids that live with me full time. So its hard for me to place myself in their shoes. Maybe when I buy a house later this year. I will understand more.

But as for the site,I dont come here anymore just because for awhile. It was the same stuff over and over. Same questions...same pointless topics...and it even seemed to go more towards crawling then racing. The hard line that was taken against the insults and language to me also turned me off.
