So the whole week I have been getting my new RC8 ready for some racing soon, and decided to take it to work with me so I can start to break in my new engine since there is a large parking lot that has been seal coated about 3 months ago so it should be perfect I thougt. Ran about 4 tanks throughout the day and decided to run one more tank in it befor I went home for the day. Started running it and then my boss the owner comes out and decided he wanted to give it a shot and I think you all know where this go's.
FULL TH STRAIGHT INTO THE ONLY DUMPSTER AROUND WHAT THE F$%K
now I have a nice bent chassi with nothing in front because it was all broke off and my wife is all pissed off at me because I came home in a bad mood and said its a toy get over it.

I dono.. Boss - employee relationships are weird. If hes a good boss, he'll offer to pay for the damage. If hes a prick like most bosses, he'll find out that there was $100 worth of damage done to a toy car and say "F-that."
That would be really awkward. I feel for you man!

I hope he mans up and pays for it. I do know how you feel.My cousin was beggin and beggin me to drive my maxx before so I finally let her yes her drive it. I showed her how to NOT pull the trigger all the way but she evidently didn't listen. bout 50mph staight into a curb. I swept up the carnage while her dad (my wifes uncle) was laughing about it. Only cost 125.00 to fix it but thats a lot of parts on a maxx!
oh and I had to foot the bill. They never even offered and I didn't want to make the inlaws hate me by bitchin about it.

Yeah...I feel for you man. I've never cared who's ever asked me to run my cars I always say no it's too big of a risk, unless im at the track with a racer.
The couple testimonials made me seethe. These aren't toys in my opinion a toy cost 5 bucks to fix. cause we all you you can't say "It's just a (topic)" to a guy, we get pissed because it's serious. the whole thing about someone laughing over a crash would make me pissed I dunno how you guys can just walk away. >_< but I think the circumstances are better. hopefully there isn't any unseen damage on your buggy, bud, that you find out when you try to race it.

Talked to my boss today he gave me a call on my cell phone and said that he wanted a full list of all that was broke and where we are going to order the stuff from Tuesday, that he was going to buy what ever it needed and that was that. Super cool of him that is for sure, so I'm glad that I dont have to come up with the coin to fix it. All together from A Main it will be 387.65 for all the parts.
Great way to start what was going to be a great weekened but I guess it could have been worse if he called up and was like did you get it fixed yet and say something like he wasn't going to pay for it or even flip me a little cash to fix it.

Mike: I'll try and get some pics of it later on this week it will be sitting for a little bit until I get either the parts or the money. And I would so take the 300 hundred and get another kit but that still have to come up with a 146. I havent seen one for 300 yet anywhere.

Why don't surface radios have "buddy box" setups like airplanes? It would help.
But what is the first reflex when it all goes bad? The rookie pulls harder on the trigger instead of letting go and steering.

Wouldn't be a bad idea, atleast you could if you use a 2.4ghz airplane radio it would be possible.

First lesson, NEVER let an unknown driver drive your car. Don't care who it is. You were kind of asking for it there. Its not possible to hand these cars over to someone who has no idea how the basic controls work.
Unless you wanna dial down the throttle travel to limit power, which is what I do for my cousins if I'm going to let them drive the car. When I had my jato I wouldn't let anyone drive it. 5lb 4 wheeled booster rocket is what that was.
