Tex, Just an FYI I talked to Carlton (coordinator of RCPS) and the Revo will not be in the Arena class next year. He is defining the classes more accurately. I thought I read on the grid that Roar is also doing this.
Rich, welsome to the wonderful world of truggies.... I think you will like it if when you make the jump, because the set up is alot like 1/8th and it is easier to go from 1/8th to arena than it is 1/8th to mt, because they drive much more similar.

Just curious, what class will my MT2 be in? I've never raced off-road.

I dont think I've even seen a HPI race in Staium class.
Back back to subject..................Revo for sale maybe =) lol

What are you lokking to get for it?? I have a brand new Revo roller that I was going to start race prepping, but yours is already there so...

I was thinking close to 500.00 for everything.
A quick add up of everything and it seems I have over 900 invested in it.

sorry to say RCDad, people don't race MT2's and when they do, they do very poorly. Just stating facts, I'm by no means telling you your truck sucks, it's just not a race truck. It's more of a go anywhere stadium.
Plus at "more official" races (like pro series) they won't let you race a 4WD in gas truck. The MT2 wouldn't be able to race period at a big event.

 Didn't he just buy that truck?

My buddy Jack has driven his MT2 around at LH last winter. That thing got around pretty quick if you ask me. Alas, tex is correct, at a major event it is illegal because of the 4WD. I'm sure at local events though, they'll let you race it.

Oh yeah, back on topic....LMK when you decide if your selling.

I'm also interested when your serious, at least in the starter box, chassis, body, wheels/tires, proline arm, etc....
You should part all that stuff out that you have for sale and make the money you want....

150 for the chassis and starter box ? that like 350 + for that stuff. =)
I know I give good deals......but damn. Obsessive, I'll have the thing back together tomorrow and I'll shoot you a PM then. We'll work something out for the entire package.

350+ for a box and a ballistics chassis? damn.....
I thought I was being generous at $150 that puts the box and chassis at $175+ each when new???? I thought the box was $125 and the chassis was $150 :moon:

Humm... you mean I may have to lower the Savage and race it instead? It seems odd that they would disqualify the MT2 for being 4WD?
09-01-2005, 04:36 PM
4wd is a huge advantage compared to 2wd. Meaning if you have a ST2 and a MT2 (you get my drift if that isn't their real names) the MT2 will kill the ST2 in the traction department.
Now because of variables the Losi stadiums will out perform the MT2 even only running 2wd

Rc Dad
I highly doubt that if you showed up to Leisure Hr. or a Dirtdawg Event and it was just a regular race day and it wasnt a big special event , nobody woul bat an eye ! I know for a fact the D.D.'s wouldnt give a rip if you wanted to run it with us. I had an mt 1 and as much as i loved that lil truck it was always alittle on the delicate side... Besides if your new to off road racing the advantage of 4 wheel drive wont realy show if your racing guys with some experince.
Dont mess wit my sig Line tune!

I guess I'll call Leisure when it opens and find out if they will allow it or not.
Mine is all aluminum so it should hold up well.

Dirt Dawgs welcomes anything to race, that's what is cool and unique about racing with them. In the electric class you'll have a pede runnin' a XXX4 Losi...lol You should come out and race sometime!
